Vacation CMNM experiences with younger men

Vacation CMNM experiences

by sunbuns99

I had some great CMNM (Clothed Male Naked Male) experiences during my month of vacation travel in August a few years back. They really aren't ones that would have much graphic or explicit content or anything like that... but they were certainly meaningful because I was able to make some great connections with people. For me, it's not enough just to be naked in front of strangers - that's
easy enough to accomplish at a nudist beach, locker room, or clothing optional resort, etc.

I find it increasingly important to me if I can develop some kind of interaction - social - not even sexual with the guys I am nude with. I realize that this probrably says a lot about the nature of my own reasons or motivation for seeking out CMNM situations. I should eventually delve into that - I suppose. For me it not simply whether or not the guy is showing any interest in seeing my nude body or me his. It's much more satisfying when the clothed person and I (or if I'm clothed and he's nude) are engaging in either doing something together or conversing about mutal interests while one of us is nude.

Here is just a quick glimpse at my summer episodes... (as much for my own recall as for your entertainment ):

a) I stayed several weeks on the Big Island (Hawaii) so I had a chance to camp, go to a clothing optional resort, and get nude on a couple of beaches

b) I stayed at a hostel (same one as before) and had a wonderful time getting to know my bunkmates and people from adjoining rooms. There were quite a few opportunities to be naked or be clothed with naked during that 5-day stay. One of the most fun things was 6 of us going skinnydipping at Waikiki Beach after midnight (2 women and one guy remained clothed, 3 guys got naked). I had spent the whole time just dying to see those other two hunks in the nude so it was really cool being accepted in the camaraderie of guys being guys and getting to skinnydip with them in the end.

c) I meet up the next week with oneof the guys who stayed in that same hostel dorm room (he didn't
go skinnydipping) but his bunk was just across from mine (both on the top) so I had an uninterrupted view of him sleeping and also he had the same of me - I sleep nude every night of course. I loved watching him put his hand down his pants and play with or 'straighten' his cock (supposedly while asleep).

I made sure he got a chance to see me with a woody too several times a night (and at sunrise) - although he never acknowledged noticing. Because we were both returning (from Honolulu) back to the the Big Island, we ended up going together to the Puna area of the Big Island the following week- so I introduced to the delights of the 'naked Aloha' life. It was his first trip to a nude beach and at first he was reluctant - although he's the one who suggested going - but finally he got up the courage to shed all his clothes and even allowed me to take some photos.

Later we camped out a Kalani so he got another chance to
be naked on the clothing optional pool that evening. Of course, I slept naked next to him in the 2-man tent and I hardly got any sleep at all. The previous day we went to the natural steam vents (like an outdoor sauna made from lava-heated steam) and we got naked. A guy there was 'pretending 'to sleep and sporting a big hard on so that gave me and Koji a chance to talk later about dicks and erections when the other guy got up and left. I got several pics (and he of me) of our short few days together.

d) I stayed in Manhattan at the West Side Y and had quite a few chances to be naked with strangers. Guests can use the pool, gym and locker rooms just like paid members. On my return trip thru NYC, I stayed at another hostel and also scouted out a few more where I might return on my next trip. I also spent several evenings at the West Side Club.

e) Some nudity at a couple public beaches lead to some sexual encounters -- I met a really nice Russian guy whom I mistook for straight until he keep coming up and trying to get peeks some parts of my anatomy. Eventually, I got more than just a peek at his.

f) One of the times I almost forgot about was really one of the coolest CNMN experiences I had for
a long while. I stayed over in Waikiki over 6 days (at the hostel I mentioned earlier). On Sundays, there is a catamaran cruise which is mainly reserved for gay and lesbians departing from Waikiki Beach at 1:00pm - you can get discounted tickets at Angles (gay bar on Kuhio)

and the 90-minute ride includes 4 drink tickets. It's advertised as clothing optional - although I'd never seen anybody go naked on this cruise before (it was the 2nd time to take the cruise since they have advertised it as 'nude cruise.' It seems that actually boat operator and captain aren't really kept informed (at least they plead ignorance). I asked my hostel roommates if they wanted to come along but the macho-man guy from the Netherlands was negative about it, saying he didn't want to go on any gay cruise - but - of course, it seemed he never missed an opportunity to get naked. I am sure all would have had a great time if they had gone. I certainly did.

Previously cruises were very tame, but this time I simply was not going to be denied the chance to get naked in public in front of so many people. As we were boarding, I asked some of the guys if they were going to get naked later on. Nobody seemed eager but there were any flat denials either. So .... when we got further out in the bay about 500 yards from shore, I asked the
captain - a local Hawaiian guy, if it OK if I got naked. He said he was told about that before - but I explained that the cruise was advertised that way and that I wouldn't be obscene or do anything to attract attention from other boats. So he consented.

I was the only one to get nude and there were a few women and also a group of 5 young Black doctors from Wash D.C. in town for a medical convention. I sat with a very big local guy but he didn't get naked but seemed to enjoy having me do so. The two young ship's mates on board took furtive looks but they were nonchalant about having a naked haole dude on board. Later on we got back closer to shore nearly the end of the cruise, I pulled on my trunks and then we asked about being able to stop for a swim so the captain agreed. It would have been great to have been naked - all of us jumping off of the boat and then remerging up the gangway between the two large rudder fins of the catamaran. It was a great cruise and being naked made it so much more fun.

Hawaii Nudist and Gay Beaches (Oahu and the Big Island) -- Update Sept.2017

Hawaii Nudism and possible cruising in Hawaii
REPUBLISHED May 28, 2008, revised October 2008, Revised Sept 2012, Updated Sept. 2017

(Note: Some info may not be accurate since conditions change - such is the nature of nudism across the world - the weather and erosion, changes in attitudes of the local community and prohibition or surveillance by law enforcement or public park authorities may cause significant changes to the 'facts' listed in the article below).

Sorry for the canned and somewhat disorganized article below but I frequently get requests about the topic of Hawaii and what 'gay' things there are, so I have this standard blog entry and have just kept adding more to it over the years.  It's time now again for update on the information.

If you have more specific questions later, I'll try to answer them. But for now, I hope this general introduction to Hawaii nude beaches and gay spots there will help.

The first part is mainly about Oahu. There is aksi specific information about The Big Island, Hawaii, and Maui at the end of this article.

Nudity and Nude Beach in Hawaii

Nude beaches, heh? Do they exist in the Hawaii islands?

Yes, but proceed with some caution because except for a couple of places (not on Oahu), nude sunbathing is considered illegal (except for a couple of long-time (and which has tacit permission for the law enforcement officers).

Warning:  Nudity on public beaches is illegal. Do not do so without taking adequate precautions to be discreet. However, there are a few places where it is tolerated (or at least overlooked) by the authorities. However, most of these are NOT located on Oahu. Nevertheless, nude sunbathing does happen on Oahu (the main island, where Honolulu and its famous, Waikiki Beach is located).

Queen's Surf  -- NOW NO LONGER A GAY MEETING PLACE
There used to be a section of Waikiki Beach called Queen's Surf -- where you guessed it - the queens gathered. But sadly it is longer active as a gay men's meeting point (for sunbathing (clothed, of course), picnicking, and just talking.  No, it is no called Queen's Surf because it was frequented by drag queens (LOL), but gay men used to gather there to socialize. It's still there as a public beach, and a few gay men do congregate there, but nothing like the masses of gay men who used to frequent this public beach. It's found just passed the Honolulo Zoo and is located just two hundred yards from the Waikiki Aquarium. You can find it just passed the snack shop/restroom. However, there is absolutely no nudity on this very public part of the beach. Many people don't even notice and you're likely to have families or tourist/visitors sitting near or even among the 'guys' on the grass lawn just across the beach side sidewalk. NOW (as of 2015 and later),  NO LONGER A GAY MEETING PLACE.

Diamond Head Beach (Lighthouse Beach)
For nudism, the closest place to Waikiki where you can go to a gay and sometimes discreetly nude beach on Oahu is at Diamond Head Beach (below the Light House). It can be cruisy, but you need to be aware that it is part of a public beach and not everybody walking down along the shore is a guy looking for gay sex. Tourists, people walking their pets, and families sometimes walk thru and even stop to enjoy the beach too. However, it does get cruisy at times -- sometimes best when the sun has started to set or after sunset. Just be discreet and cover up if somebody who looks like a cop comes thru. I have never seen a police office or been stopped myself, but I've "heard" that arrests have been made for public indecency. I have received a parking ticket - so don't park where it is prohibited or after posted hours. There are places to "hide", ledges to sunbathe nude without being seen from below and I've had some wild times there both in broad daylight and after dusk, especially on the forested hillside just above this beach.

How to get there..
From the east end of Waikiki, you can drive there or it is even possible to walk (20-30 minute walk across and down along Kapiolani Park) to its eastern end and then walk up about 700 yards to the drive way that goes down to Light House Beach. You can't miss Diamond Head crater's peak looming overhead -- which can be seen from anywhere in Honolulu. If you drive, then you can follow Kalakaua east to the Zoo and then continue due east along Kapiolani Park to its end and then turn right on Diamond Head road. There is a small road down the beach -- but there is limited parking there (don't leave a car at most Diamond Head Road street parking after 10pm or as posted!!)

If driving, it is easier sometimes to go on passed the light house and then look for parking up at the look-out point(s) along Diamond Head Road (regular unmetered parking) or for roadside parking on the mountain side of Diamond Head Road. As any place in Honolulu - don't leave valuables in your car and don't park where people can easily sneak up and open your car -- car break-ins in Honolulu  are among the highest rates in the entire country -- more than New York City, by far. So you'd best take precautions.

If you're really worried about break-ins,  then drive your rental car,  but park instead at Kapiolani Park,  or take a bus (#14) or a taxi and then walk back from the nearest bus stop to beach, or just walk all the way from Waikiki and back - which is what I usually do., besides, it's good exercise too. The walk through Kapiolani Park either way is beautiful. On the beach side parallel with the Park and eventually leading to Waikiki proper just across from the Zoo (at the interection of Kalakaua and Kapahulu) is the extension of Waikiki Beach. There you'll find Queen's Surf Beach between the Honolulu Zoo and the Waikiki Aquarium, where a lot of gays hang out - but there in NO NUDITY absolutely at such a public place.

Just as a extra side-trip, I often stop in at the men's restroom and changing room with open stall showers at the old Natatorium (outdoor competitive swimming pool - which has now fallen in decay from lack of use). It's open from early (6:00am ) to dusk so you can sometimes catch (cute) guys changing and showering before or after their romps in the ocean for swimming and surfing. I always like to get naked when I shower, and enjoy it even more when another guy or guys does the same.

Being Discreet and Avoiding Trouble
You should know that public (beach) nudity is illegal in Hawaii (as in most US States) -- this is posted at most beaches -- and there has evidently been more police patrolling of Light House beach. But I myself have never seen a police officer on the beach -- although the stories / rumors keep going around. My advice is don't be blatant -- it is a public beach with families and tourists -- who don't expect to see a nude guy especially one with a hard-on or engaged in sexual activity. They are probably the ones who call the police (if they ever do come down to look for "sex perverts".) I prefer to stay up above the beach -- (but not TOO high) or the tourist at the look-out point above can see you -- and have towel/swimsuit to cover up if somebody obviously NOT gay comes snooping around.

Nonetheless, I've had some good "looks" and quite a lot of sex in the bushes and in the coves/nooks, especially around dusk. If you aren't interested in the cruising part, then you can just enjoy the sun and see what other guys do. They can't arrest you for thongs or skimpy bikinis in any case.

Mokuleia (near Polo Field) on the North Shore (Oahu)
(part of a discussion Yahoo! Group Hawaii Nudist -- it is not very active, but there was information about a North Shore 'nudist' beach - Mokuleia.)

Since there are no legal nude beaches on Oahu or its too far to go there, some guys do lie out on the north shore near the Polo Fields at Mokuleia. Others lie out at Diamond head below the lighthouse right outside Waikiki. (by Honolulust)

The beach on the North Shore (Polo Fields) is much nicer than the Diamond Head lighthouse beach. The water is clearer, cleaner and much more secluded. At the end of the public access trail, go to the right for the gay nude area. As you walk you will see a bushy wooded area.
That's the gay area. You can situate yourself on the beach or in the little areas in the bushes. I 've had some very hot sessions on that beach!
(by Musl2Pound)

I'm still not sure where that beach is - Polo Fields at Mokuleia. Is in off of Crozier Dr. (the street closest to the shore) or is it further west out Farrington Hwy? If you don't have a car (a tourist
or visitor) would you be out of luck? I mean is it worth take a bus to Waialua and then walking?
(These question are from sunbuns99 - p.s. Nobody ever answered my questions so I still don't know much about Mokuleia (May 2008). You can find the place and the polo fields on Google maps.)

Places for finding sex in public: Cruising areas Part 2

[Note: A Follow up of a discussion on Dudesnude com] A response by this author in April, 2011; updated May 2017]

This topic is a frequent one of interest to both gay and bi-curious men, of which the latter are married or involved in relationship with women and thus need some 'male-oriented' sexual release. I have blogged / talked about this many times but as the warmer weather approaches (in the northern hemisphere), thoughts of furtive sexual hunting games and orgiastic and erotic encounters in public places again captures my full attention and brings my (and maybe yours too) to full erection in anticipation of public outdoor sex with anonymous hunks and in reality, most times with regular blokes.

Where do you find the male cruising areas?

The list is not extensive or complete. I am sure many of you can recommend your own favorite gay beach or public cruising area.  Please add any you have enjoyed or know about in a comment below .

Well, it's partly gaydar.. or rather the basic hunting instinct of the male of the species. The place just seems right or you can feel the vibe of the cruisers mentality as you walk down a certain street or alley, enter a public park or seek out a less crowded corner of a local recreation area or beach. Public restrooms figure prominently in these zones of the sexual hunter. Perhaps not simply because they do offer a vehicle for 'semi-public' exposure of one's sexual and, obviously, excretory organs. But it may be the associations, and the fact that men have just handled or are about to touch their own privates which may heighten their sexual awareness of others - particularly the men that are experiencing similar sensuous emotions - even when they can be put in actual words or envisioned in their minds as any kind of defined sexual act.

The ambiance of the gay cruise area may residence in such factors as: location, convenience, proximity to other male or gay-oriented spots (Home Depot's tool department, garden shop and its restrooms may be notorious in this respect), whether or not the male body can be exposed as normally accepted behavior, such as a public or university gymnasium locker room, or public swimming pool, or whether there is some chance of seeing the naked male body or at least parts of it (such as a beach, or sunbathers on grassy lawn in a big city park, or where even more explicit male (and/or female) nudity occurs, such as a strip club, or nude beach or clothing optional resort or camp, or at some public large-group events where nudity may be involved, such as Mardi Gras and Carnival, etc.
Here are some of my recommendations for places to find male-4-male sex (and gay, homoerotic or sexual stimulation or gratification in public places:

Some very large metropolitan parks in major world cities have an unspoken tradition of clandestine public sex. Englischer Garten in Munich’s central park, New York’s Central Park, San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, and Tokyo’s Yoyogi Park are all places where (sometimes) and if you only know where to look you can see people (straight and gay couples) having sex. In Tokyo, a few years back, there was a kind of club of guys who made it their hobby to spy on couples making out or fucking or otherwise petting/masturbating each other and attempts to take photos (or at least use night vision binoculars).

Some large public fairs, street events and d
Demonstrations sometimes have episodes of public sex: Southern Decadence (gay event at Labor Day in New Orleans), Mardi Gras, (at various locations), Folsom Street Fair, and Dorey Alley Parade, etc… I am inclined to think it might happen at WNBR but I have no evidence to prove it (maybe just wishful thinking).

YOUR FEEDBACK and RESPONSES are appreciated:

The list is not extensive or complete. I am sure many of you can recommend your own favorite gay beach or public cruising area.
Please add any you have enjoyed or know about in a comment below .

1)  The dunes of Maspalomas, near Playa del Ingles, Gran Canaria, Spain. The Canary Islands are Spanish territories off the coast of Morocco. There is tons of gay semi-public and sometimes heterosexual sex going on in the dunes just behind the large nude beach (FKK) area.

2) There are dozens (if not more) nude beaches around Spain (from Barcelona to Cadiz). Also on the eastern coast of Spain, there are several nude beaches and gay cruising areas. I was pleasantly surprised with I visited Gandia (a university town along the beach about 40 minutes from Valencia) to find a nude beach that also has some gay cruising.  It was located between Gandia and Xeraco,  called Playa De L'Ahuir.

Very often you can expect to see a gay men’s cruising area close by and therefore, sometimes you can view sexual acts by people (supposedly gay men) who either don’t know or who don’t care.

3) Sometimes the parking lots at large beachside resorts become a sexual playground for a few adventure-some couples. Normally, only male-female couples can actually get away with it. But it does happen between men when there are the right circumstances - such as a full moon  or when there is a nude beach nearby.

I watched a mixed race couple (M/F) fuck in the parking lot to Black’s Beach (along with quite a few other people) across from UCSD campus. It was really hot watching a big dick-clubbed black dude butt-pound from behind a white woman with her bikini rolled down her legs, whom he either had just picked up on the nude beach, or with whom he had been ‘overstimulated’ by spending an afternoon out on the nude beach (mixed sexes).

P.S. Due to greater police and ranger patrols, this seems to becoming rarer.

A few such clothing optional beaches in the US that used to have some public sex going on (either hidden or safely discreet) were:

Nude or Gay Beaches in the US

At least, I had the pleasure of getting lucky with one or more male sexual partners at each of the following public beaches:

  • a) Herring Cove State Beach, Provincetown, Cape Cod, Mass.  New park ranger patrols make it difficult to even be naked, and the rangers also patrol the dunes looking for illicit behavior to arrest guys.
  • b) Black’s Beach, La Jolla, between UCSD and Torrey Pines State Preserve (Park)
  • c) Baker’s Beach, San Francisco, near Golden Gate Bridge Land’s End Park, near The Presidio - not far from Seal Rock
  • d) San Onofre Beach Park, (no longer legally a nudist beach)
  • e) Williamette River, Eugene, Oregon - near Lane Community College, also near a concrete plant - a river side swimming area used to be a gay cruising zone, and was a place that hippies and college kids could get naked and fuck in peace.

Take at look at Odyssey Magazine of Hawaii
http://odysseyhawaii.com/

In addition, there are some more spots:

Max's Gym (gay gym and also gay sauna)
Queen's Beach (a section of Waikiki Beach just before the Aquarium. It's frequented by gay and gay couples)
Diamond Beach (below the Light House) can be cruisy, and sometimes guys go nude sunbathing there (or in the bushes above it), but the police do cruise for public lewdness violations so be discreet.

Ask at Hula's Bar (or see gay events/activities in Odyssey Magazine) - such as gay volleyball, and a gay catamaran cruise, etc.  http://www.hulas.com/
A little known fact is that you can go camping all around The Big Island of Hawaii, using a combination of County parks, State Parks and private commercial campgrounds.
Start by using the Hawaii County site:
   https://hawaiicounty.ehawaii.gov/camping/welcome.html
You can also write to the State office to get a camping permit for state parks.
Also check out http://www.kalani.com    It's a 100 acre resort which has camping and lodge and villa accommodation, too. Kalani is quite gay friendly, and also has some organized gay activities as well as new age / spiritual retreats, and dance and yoga workshops.
Other things to do besides gay stuff:

On Oahu
Climb Diamond Head crater for lookout views at the top (walkable from Waikiki or take a taxi and walk back down afterward)
Pearl Harbor visits to War Memorial
Hanauma Bay for snorkeling
Drive up to Kailua - Kaneohe (views from Pali Point) Hyw 3
North Shore (Polo Beach was mentioned), but there are lots of fun things to do and see on the North Shore, (stop at Dole Plantation for a taste of pineapple ice cream)
Deserted beaches out at Leeward Coast (I've been nude many times out passed Makaha but discretion advised).
Ala Moana Shopping Center (also has a nice food court with Thai, Hawaiian, )
Try Maui Tacos in Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center (food court on 2nd floor)
Eat a Maui-style taco (the wettest taco in the world with Kona Longboard beer - on tap in the bar on the same floor. You can bring in food from the Food Court and eat in the bar).
Some of the great Waikiki landmark hotels have beachside grills and bars -- You can have an authentic Mai Tai, served at the place where it was invented.
Hilton Hawaiian Village has set of attractions inside its grounds. Even if you're not staying there, it's worth a walk through the Village to see the sites, shopping, food and attractions (the penguin and tropical bird zoo is interesting). From HHV you can walk along Waikiki Beach all the way to Kapiolani Park (Zoo and Aquarium, etc), and vice-versa.

On Hawaii (Big Island):

  Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
      Kilauea Crater
      Visit the lava flows
 Hilo  (Old Town)
   Akaka Falls
Laupahoehoe Park (memorial to tsunami victims of the 1964 disaster, get camping permit on the Hawaii County site).
Parker Ranch (Waimea)  once was the world's largest ranch
Waipio Canyon (hiking down and back up)
Hawi / Kapa'a in the far North of Kohala
    Kailua-Kona Town
Scuba/ Snorkeling with Giant Manta (near Kona)
Lava Tree State Monument (near Pahoa)
Pohoiki (Kapoho-Kalapana Road Hwy 137 'Red Road') - interesting tropical forest drive

Kehena Black Sands Beach -  located at milemaker 19 on Hwy 137
Kalani Honau Resort - Great organic breakfast, lunch, and dinner (best deal is breakfast 7:00-8:30 ($10), Lunch 12:00-1:00 ($12), Dinner 6:30-8:00 ($22)

On Maui
Little Beach on Maui is nudist, but has no amenities (so take plenty of water and sunscreen, etc).  A toilet is nearby on the larger textile beach.  Maui Sunseeker Hotel is the (only) gay hotel on the island.

Caution:
One or two words of caution

1) Don't leave valuables (or anything - for that matter) in a parked car). Break-ins are very frequent. Robbers will smash a passenger window and steal everything. Locals just leave the windows open to show that there is nothing of value in the vehicle.

2) It's hard to park in many areas of Waikiki. So leave your car in Ala Moana and jump on a city bus (correct change needed) or sightseeing trolley (a couple of latter are free if you have a certain credit card).

3)  Don't be stupid about the ocean and nature (such as the volcanic lava) and the dangers therein. Many people drown and some die because they are simply stupid about volcanoes. Walking into a pool of hot lava can kill you, or breathing sulfuric acid and liquid silicon will NOT be good for your lungs.
Be aware of tides and the dangers of waves and drifts.
Every year some unlucky and unwise tourists die or undergo major injuries because of not being aware of and taking simple precautions.

01 Jan 2013, 04:06I just got back from Hawaii

Diamond Head hike was fun with a great view of Waikiki. Hanauma Bay for snorkeling was also fun. Loved Pearl Harbor and the North Shore. Hula's is the big gay bar in Waikiki ( 134 Kapahulu Dr., across from the Zoo, near intersection of Kapahulu and Kalakaua (main boulevard along Waikiki Beach) http://www.hulas.com/

I really loved the island of Kauai (nothing gay there, that I found).
